Job summary

JotPsych is hiring a Product Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 in New York City. You will ship end-to-end features, from UI to backend to database to prompt, translating busy clinic workflows into smooth, intuitive software for clinicians.

You'll be paired with a mentor, receive a clear project scope on day one, and have weekly 1:1s to review progress. You will write production code, review PRs, and ship to real clinicians as part of a hands-on learning experience.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing CS or related degree, graduating 2027 or 2028.
• Available to work 40 hours/week in person at the Brooklyn Navy Yard for Summer 2027.
• Has shipped real software outside of class (personal projects, hackathons, internships).
• Demonstrates curiosity and ability to turn rough ideas into working software.

Responsibilities

• Feature delivery from UI to backend to database to prompt.
• Product iteration with engineers, designers, and clinicians.
• Integration of frontend UI with backend services and APIs.
• Build internal tooling to speed up team operations (admin views, QA utilities).
• Maintain engineering fundamentals: tests, debugging, refactors.
