Job summary

Bass Pro Shops offers a 10-week internship program designed to develop career competencies within a multifaceted outdoor retailer. You will work on projects across merchandising, product development, and market research while gaining exposure to senior leadership at Base Camp.

Interns participate in field trips to our Granddaddy store, Big Cedar Lodge, and boat manufacturing plants, building hands-on experience and networking opportunities in a dynamic outdoor-focused company.

Qualifications

• Completion of junior year of college through graduating year.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Available for the full 10-week, 40 hours/week internship.
• Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program related to the internship.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to relocate to the internship location for the duration.

Responsibilities

• Assists with product specifications, sourcing, forecasting, and marketing strategy.
• Assists in developing Proprietary Product, identifying market trends, and setting product/price structures.
• Assists in the preparation of financial plans and business strategy.
• Obtains vendor samples and tracks designs awaiting approval.
