Job summary

Bass Pro Shops offers a 10-week internship program designed to give students a holistic view of the business, with emphasis on career development and hands-on experience in a multifaceted company.

Based at our Springfield, MO Base Camp, interns work with the product development and design teams, participate in field trips, and gain professional networking opportunities with leadership to build their brands.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: completion of junior year of college through graduating year.
• Minimum GPA: 3.0 or higher.
• Available for full 10-week program (40 hours/week).
• Currently enrolled in accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Eligible to work in the US and able to relocate for the program duration.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial product review of samples and coordinate with product development to address specifications, materials, or pricing.
• Maintain and update tech packs related to sizing and fit standards in PLM system.
• Provide style development feedback on samples to vendors and team members.
• Prepare samples and product analysis documentation for review sessions.
• Collaborate with design team to maintain design intent and brand standards.
• Take concise notes, document, and inform vendors and team members of updates.
• Communicate comments and corrections to overseas offices, factories and QC.
• Track project deadlines and ensure timely completion.
• Daily communication with development team and overseas vendors.

Education

Junior year through graduating year completed

GPA 3.0 or higher
