Job summary

Ryan Companies has an exciting opportunity for a Preconstruction Engineer Intern in Minneapolis. This summer internship runs May–August and offers hands-on learning in budgeting, cost accounting, invoices, contracts and change orders.

You will assist the project team and gain exposure to scheduling, quality control and safety on the job site. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, and you must be pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Construction Engineering/Management

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Construction Engineering/Management or closely-related field.
• Able to work 40 hours a week.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project team in the completion of designated projects while learning construction industry processes, procedures, and Ryan business policies.
• Gain a working understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.
• Develop an understanding of job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control and safety.
