Job summary

The City of Flagstaff Parks Section is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Temporary Parks Maintenance Workers for the summer season. In this role, you will help maintain parks, trails, open spaces, and recreation facilities while supporting the crews that keep our community spaces safe, clean, and enjoyable for residents and visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of manual labor in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintains parks, trails and open spaces as assigned, including landscaping, irrigation maintenance, mowing and trimming, weed control, litter removal.
• Assists with installation, maintenance and repairs of park facilities and irrigation systems.
• Operates basic maintenance equipment and handles snow operations when needed.
• Provides courteous customer service and works as part of a crew to complete tasks.
