Job summary

Southern Glazer’s Operations internship offers hands-on exposure to wine and spirits distribution, with modern technology and hands-on experience shadowing SCM leadership in Santa Fe Springs.

You will engage in warehouse and inventory tasks, demand planning, delivery, and safety, with software like JDA, SAP, Manhattan WM. Open to graduates December 2027 or May 2028; must reside near Santa Fe Springs and be available May 17–July 30, 2027.

Qualifications

• Reside in the vicinity of Santa Fe Springs or be able to obtain housing.
• Candidates graduating December 2027 or May 2028.
• Preferred majors: Business Administration/Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple projects.
• Teamwork approach to accomplishing goals.
• Self-starter with demonstrated leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to secure and maintain a valid driver’s license and auto-liability insurance per state laws.
• Ability to secure and maintain a State Sales Permit per state laws.

Responsibilities

• Shadow SCM leadership and tour distribution centers.
• Shadow and participate in various Operation functions.
• Gains exposure to Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, Demand Planning, Delivery, EH&S, Fleet Management, and SCM Technology.
