Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking Summer Interns - Operations Analyst to join the Support Operations Team in Mobile, AL. The program focuses on PPE management optimization and cost reduction strategies during a 10-12 week internship.

You will work with a mentor, gain hands-on experience, tour manufacturing facilities, and build a professional network through events. The program aims to develop future leaders in operations and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Willing to relocate or live in Mobile, AL area for the internship.
• Enrolled in an undergraduate program at least Sophomore level.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in G-Suite and Microsoft Office applications.
• Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
• Preferred study areas include IT, Data, Business, Finance, or Aerospace Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Analyze PPE expenditure history to identify cost drivers.
• Assess PPE management processes at multiple facilities and benchmark them.
• Develop a cost reduction strategy for procurement and allocation.
• Create a tracking system to monitor PPE consumption and stock levels.
• Deliver implementation guidelines to sustain cost reductions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
