Job summary

Allegion in Indianapolis seeks an Operational Excellence Lean Specialist to support Lean transformation in the plant and drive improvements across safety, quality, delivery, and inventory. You will work with the value stream team to apply Lean tools and value stream mapping in daily operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of Lean/TPS experience, with strong communication and the ability to influence teams. Experience with PowerBI and ERP systems is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred in management, engineering, or supply chain.
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in lean concepts or Toyota Production System.
Experience with frontline leadership in operations and/or materials.
Experience with distribution, warehousing and/or logistics facilities a plus.
Some level of understanding of PowerBI, WMS, MES, and ERP systems.
Strong written & oral communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Implement tactical strategies to achieve the vision and short/long-term objectives for the value stream.
Drive Operational Excellence culture change through coaching of employees and leaders.
Support Lean initiatives with value stream teams via design, process improvements, and systems support.
Provide effective project updates to Value Stream Leadership on key metrics.
