Job description

Department Overview:

The kids participate in swim team, softball, baseball, basketball, volleyball, and horse camp. Most of the daily summer activities are scheduled, with mornings being the busiest. Afternoons are typically quieter and flexible. I work a predictable schedule Tuesday-Friday, with occasional delays, and my husband works road construction with an unpredictable schedule.

Anticipated Dates and Hours:

• Start Date: 05/22/2025
• End Date: 08/20/2025
• Hours per Week: 25-33 (negotiable)

Schedule:

A typical week includes off on Mondays, Tuesday 7am-4:15pm, Wednesday 7am-3:30pm, Thursday 7am-3pm, and Friday 7am-1:30pm, with flexible ending times on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Activities taper at the end of July, with a family vacation in August and kids returning to school on August 20th.

Salary Range:

$22.00/hour

Position Summary and Duties:

We are a busy family of five in Middleton, with kids aged 10, 13, and 16, and two Goldendoodles. We seek a reliable, patient, fun, creative, flexible, active nanny who is good with teens and tweens, and a safe driver. Responsibilities include transporting kids to activities, pool time, planning activities, homework help, light cooking, and light housekeeping related to kids and dogs. The 16-year-old is mostly independent.

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, safe driving record, patient, positive attitude, creative, active lifestyle, problem-solving skills, and love for dogs. Enjoyment of sports is a plus but not required.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift 25 lbs, navigate stairs easily, and play with kids.
