Qualifications

• Must have a strong and growing relationship with Jesus
• Aligns with Preston Trail mission, beliefs, and values
• Must complete assessment to be considered
• Committed to team culture of Self-Leadership, Positive Attitude, Team Mindset, Healthy Relationships, High Performance
• Either currently pursuing or interested in vocational ministry
• Able to work effectively on-site in a fast-paced, task-shifting environment
• Willing to take initiative and seek feedback
• Committed to full-time work for 12 weeks, including Sundays, camp and events
• If taking summer classes, only one 3-hour class allowed
• Maximum time off is 5 consecutive days if communicated before offer
• Must have completed 1-year in college by Summer 2027

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with students for intentional discipleship
• Help students integrate into the ministry, connecting with others
• Learn, execute and evaluate ministry projects
• Assist in creating summer programming and events
• Plan, prep, execute and lead ministry events (summer camp, trips, worship nights)
• Engage in weekly service and leadership opportunities
• Learn to pastor students, parents, and volunteers
• Develop teams of volunteers to execute the vision of PTSM
• Teaching opportunities and weekly small group leading
• Full engagement in Preston Trail staff and church culture
