Job summary

Mentoring Alliance in Tyler, TX is seeking a Summer Intern for 2026 to join the Summer Camps team. The intern will lead campers through daily programs, Bible study, activities, meals, worship, and events, gaining ministry experience and serving families.

This is a seasonal, part-time opportunity suitable for high school students or recent graduates. Candidates should be ministry-minded, reliable, and able to work weekdays during the summer. CPR/First Aid certification is required or pursued.

Qualifications

• Agree with and exhibit behaviors in accordance with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith.
• Must be at least 16 years of age (High School Diploma or GED and some post-secondary training highly preferred).
• Passion and love for working with elementary school-aged children.
• Ability to obtain mandatory CPR/First Aid certification.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) greatly valued.
• Job type: Seasonal Part-time.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of campers through the daily program, including Bible study, activities, meals, worship times, and other events.
• Contribute to a safe, encouraging, and faith-based camp environment.
• Demonstrate fidelity to the organization’s mission and values as a Minister of the Gospel.
