Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy or Materials Science Engineering
• Must be graduating between August 2027 and June 2029
• Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week
• Must be willing to work in a plant environment

Responsibilities

• Materials testing, standardization, and reporting in metallurgical laboratory
• Makes reports and recommendations based upon test analyses
• Process modifications and continuous improvement
• Process management and quality documentation (PFMEA, Process Control Plan)
• Production and maintenance support and guidance in heat treating areas
• Establishes and evaluates testing techniques and procedures
• Audits metallurgical processes to defined requirements
• Safely operates and maintains laboratory equipment
• Conducts appropriate chemical, metallurgical, and physical tests
• Provides written reports of analysis
