Job summary

TLC Engineering Solutions, Inc. seeks a Summer 2027 Mechanical Intern in New Orleans, LA. This entry-level internship runs mid-May to early August, full-time (40 hours/week) with a hybrid schedule allowing up to 3 days from home.

You will apply coursework to real projects, receive on-the-job training and mentorship on Revit drafting, HVAC and plumbing system design, and explore a path toward engineering consulting within a collaborative multidiscipline firm.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing an ABET‑accredited bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering.
• Desire to pursue a career in engineering consulting.
• Ability to work full time (40 hours per week) from May through August 2027.
• Computer software knowledge or ability to learn, as appropriate (Revit, IES VE, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Apply academic knowledge to real projects from concept to construction completion.
• Receive on‑the‑job training and mentorship from experienced engineers.
• Learn the basics of Revit drafting/modeling and mechanical design of HVAC and plumbing systems.
