Job summary

TLC Engineering Solutions is seeking a Summer Intern in Florida to apply academic knowledge on real projects from concept to construction under seasoned engineers. You’ll gain hands-on experience in Revit drafting/modeling and mechanical design for HVAC and plumbing systems, with mentorship throughout the internship.

This program runs mid-May through August 2026, full-time (40 hours per week), with a flexible hybrid schedule allowing up to 3 days from home.

Qualifications

  • Current student pursuing an ABET accredited bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering.
  • Desire to pursue a career in engineering consulting.
  • Ability to work full time (40 hours per week) from May through August 2026.
  • Computer software knowledge or ability to learn, as appropriate (Revit, IES VE, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • The Intern will work at applying academic education to assigned tasks on real projects from concept to completion of construction.
  • Mentorship from experienced engineers to learn the basics of Revit drafting/modeling and mechanical design of HVAC and plumbing systems.
