Job summary

The Toro Company is offering a Summer Internship Program in Bloomington, Minnesota. From May 17, 2027 to August 6, 2027, interns will perform engineering analyses, engage with cross-functional teams, and work with vendors to select quality components.

The program emphasizes collaboration, organization, and communication, with a competitive hourly pay range. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and be pursuing Mechanical Engineering at an ABET-accredited university.

Qualifications

• Majoring in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Completed junior-level courses preferred.
• Strong desire to learn, collaborate, and effectively communicate in a team setting.
• Ability to stay organized and use Microsoft Office programs without much direction.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analysis to predict behavior of proposed designs or resolve existing design problems.
• Engage with marketing, customers, service, manufacturing and distribution to understand requirements.
• Work with vendors to select approved, quality components.
• Coordinate with Toro groups and document development progress and analyses.
