Position Overview:

We are seeking two dedicated and innovative math teachers to join our team as Summer Math Curriculum Developers. This role is instrumental in developing engaging and impactful math content aligned with the US Common Core standards in grades 3 - 12, aimed at revolutionizing the way students engage with math education.

Responsibilities:

• Develop practice questions aligned with US Common Core standards to expand our question bank with speed and quality.
• Utilize our proprietary content management system to develop and manage a question bank for new courses in grades 3 - 12.
• Evaluate and enhance the quality of problems, ensuring they are student-ready; refine tutoring responses to optimize learning outcomes.
• Provide expert feedback on our product and curriculum, influencing the development of educational tools destined for nationwide classroom implementation.
• Proactively propose improvements to our instructional guidelines and content refinement strategies to maximize student engagement and educational impact.

Requirements:

• At least two years of classroom teaching experience in math.
• Demonstrated ability to design lesson plans, worksheets, and tests that adhere to state educational standards.
• Exceptional attention to detail, outstanding time management skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• A genuine passion for math education and a vision for making an impact, focusing on equity and affordable tutoring initiatives.
• Enthusiasm for helping students deepen their understanding of math through the development of scaffolded and engaging problems.
• Eagerness to tackle the challenges of writing and creating math problems that empower teachers to deliver personalized and engaging learning experiences.
• Devotion to both mathematics and language, evidenced by meticulous writing.

Nice to Have:

• A postsecondary degree in Mathematics.
• Proficiency in leveraging AI tools like ChatGPT for content development.
• Experience using education technology tools in the classroom.
• Math tutoring experience.
