Job summary

GGP is seeking a Marketing Intern for our Chicago office to support events, campaigns, social media, and retailer partnerships. The role offers hands-on exposure to content development, community partnerships, and campaign execution in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are collaborative, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, with coursework in marketing or communications and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; must be an incoming senior (graduating Dec 2027 or May 2028).
• Coursework in marketing or communications required.
• Knowledge of marketing principles and interest in learning emerging tactics and tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute property events, seasonal campaigns, and activations.
• Support retailer marketing initiatives by gathering promotions and content for property channels.
• Assist with community partnerships and local events.
• Research local events, competitors, consumer trends, and marketing opportunities.
• Capture and organize photo/video content from events and activations.
• Monitor engagement, website activity, and marketing metrics.
• Develop an event strategy that can be piloted across properties.
