Job summary

Hy-Vee’s Grimes Marketing Internship is designed for students majoring in marketing or journalism to gain hands-on experience in a creative marketing department. The summer program offers exposure to branding, advertising, planning and execution of campaigns, and collaboration with a creative team.

Interns will learn about market research, budgeting and scheduling, and contribute to developing messaging for campaigns while supporting department projects and events.

• College student majoring in marketing or advertising.

Responsibilities

• Help manage and track creative projects and deadlines.
• Utilize research to uncover insights into the marketplace, consumer and brand to help drive strategy, messaging and program development.
• Write marketing plans.
• Help plan, communicate and manage marketing requirements for department projects and promotions.
• Assist in coordinating promotions and special events.
• Assist marketing managers with special projects.
