Job summary

Hy-Vee Inc. is seeking a Marketing Intern to join the Marketing department at our Grimes office. This internship offers hands-on exposure to branding, advertising, strategic planning, direct marketing and event marketing within a major Midwest grocery retailer.

You will work with a creative team to develop ideas for campaigns, assist in planning marketing plans and budgets, and gain experience in the development and execution of marketing strategies.

Qualifications

• College student majoring in marketing or advertising.
• Relevant coursework required.
• Must be a junior or senior status.

Responsibilities

• Help manage and track creative projects and deadlines.
• Utilize research to uncover insights into the marketplace, consumer and brand to help drive strategy, messaging and program development.
• Write marketing plans.
• Help plan, communicate and manage marketing requirements for department projects and promotions.
• Assist in coordinating promotions and special events.
• Assist marketing managers with special projects.
