Job summary

Daisy Brand is offering a Manufacturing Systems Engineer Internship at our facilities, including the future Boone, Iowa site. You will analyze processes, apply lean methods, and work on real projects under senior engineers, with an end-of-summer presentation and potential full-time opportunities after graduation.

Ideal candidates are engineering/science students who will complete 48 credit hours by May 2026, hold at least a 2.8 GPA, can relocate temporarily, and commit to 40 hours/week for 10

Qualifications

• Pursuing Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Food Engineering or related discipline.
• Completion of 48 credit hours by May 2026.
• Willingness to relocate temporarily and pursue after-graduation full-time.
• Minimum GPA 2.8.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing current manufacturing processes for improvements.
• Support lean manufacturing to boost efficiency.
• Participate in time studies, workflow analysis and process mapping.
• Work on engineering projects under guidance of senior engineers.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling and execution.
• Contribute to continuous improvement to reduce waste.
