Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines is offering a 9-week Management Internship during the summer for students enrolled in accredited colleges. Participants will gain knowledge of the transportation industry and Dayton Freight policies while supporting center operations.

Successful interns may be considered for the Dayton Freight Management Trainee Program after completing their degree. The role emphasizes hands-on learning, teamwork, and exposure to shifts across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college.
• Basic math skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Willing to work 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts during the Program.

Responsibilities

• Gain useful knowledge about the Transportation industry and about Dayton Freight's policies, procedures and philosophies.
• Contribute to the success of the Service Center by learning and understanding each position's function and contribution to the overall mission of Dayton Freight.
