Wonderful summer opportunity to work as a Lifeguard at an AWESOME apartment community in Virginia Beach!

The Palms Apartments is a distinctive apartment living community located in Virgnia Beach, VA owned by Palms Associates, LLC-- a locally, family-owned company that has been in business for 60 years' strong!

What are the requirements for this position?

• CPR/Lifeguarding certification is required to begin working.
• Must be at least 16 years old by, or before, Memorial Day weekend.
• Must be able to work well with a team as well as unsupervised.
• Must be able to work full season through Labor Day (this is preferred, but not required)
• Must be able to maintain constant surveillance of residents using the pool and act immediately and appropriately to ensure safety in an emergency situation.
• Must be able to help keep the pool & pool area in a maximum state of cleanliness and functionality.
• Must be able to put safety first and be willing to enforce pool rules.
• Must be able to follow directions and communicate regularly with Supervisor and team concerning the status of the pool and issues that may arise.
