Job summary

Six Flags New England is seeking energetic lifeguards for the summer to keep guests safe at Hurricane Harbor. You will monitor pools, respond to emergencies, and assist visitors with questions while upholding park policies.

Requirements include 16 years of age, successful completion of the Ellis & Associates Special Facilities lifeguard course, and strong swimming ability. Flexible hours, including nights and weekends, are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must complete Ellis & Associates Special Facilities lifeguard course.
• Able to swim 200 yards in 15 minutes and tread water for two minutes.
• Flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant vigilance and supervise guests in Hurricane Harbor water park.
• Recognize and manage aquatic emergencies per Ellis & Associates ILTP.
• Assist guests with questions concerning rides, directions, and policies.
• Attend weekly in-service training sessions.
• Enforce Six Flags New England policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned in the Aquatics Department.
