Job summary

Continental Pools in Chester, VA is seeking seasonal Lifeguards to maintain a safe swimming environment and provide positive customer service. Responsibilities include monitoring pool areas, enforcing rules, and responding to emergencies.

The ideal candidate will have current Lifeguard certification, CPR, and First Aid training, with the ability to remain alert and physically perform rescues. Flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays, is essential.

Qualifications

• Must meet minimum age requirements for lifeguards (typically 15-16+).
• Must have a current Lifeguard certification and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer.
• Ability to stay alert and continuously monitor the pool area.
• Physically capable of performing rescues and assisting individuals up to 85 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool areas to ensure patron safety and prevent accidents.
• Enforce pool rules and maintain a safe swimming environment.
• Recognize and respond to emergencies, including water rescues.
• Maintain required certifications and complete ongoing training.
