Job Overview

We are hiring Summer Lifeguards! This position offers a great summer job opportunity for teens, students, teachers, retirees, or anyone with free time during the summer. The role involves ensuring the safety of patrons at aquatic facilities, enforcing pool rules, maintaining water quality, and reporting unsafe conditions.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure the safety of pool patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies.
2. Enforce all pool rules fairly and consistently.
3. Maintain proper pool water chemicals and record keeping.
4. Keep the facility clean and enjoyable for patrons.
5. Report unsafe conditions or faulty equipment to supervisors.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 15 years old by the date of hire or last day of lifeguard course.
• Availability to work during Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day weekends.
• Availability to work all weekends throughout the summer.
• Professional conduct, attentiveness, and focus.
• Current Nationally Approved Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid Certificates or obtain them before the season starts.

• Season start: Saturday, May 24, 2025
• Season end: Monday, September 1, 2025
• Pay rate: $15.13/hr - $16.00/hr, with overtime and bonus opportunities
