Lifeguard Job Description

Ensure the safety of patrons by preventing/responding to emergencies, enforcing pool rules, maintaining water quality, and reporting unsafe conditions.

Lifeguard Requirements

• Minimum age: 15 years old by hire or last day of lifeguard course
• Availability for Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day weekends
• Ability to work all weekends throughout summer
• Professional demeanor, attentiveness, focus
• Current Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications or obtain before season
