An established organization is seeking certified lifeguards to oversee pool activities and ensure a safe environment for campers. Currently certified lifeguards will supervise the pool during Free Time, morning polar bear swims, and communicate and enforce guidelines to ensure a safe, enjoyable pool environment. The Lifeguard's responsibilities include supervising patrons during camp-wide events, participating in camp devotionals, maintaining personal fitness, teaching basic water and swim skills, assisting with programs, and keeping the pool and surrounding area clean.
Note: All staff may be called upon at any time to assist with camp operations. Attendance at evening programs is expected; absences require prior approval from the Assistant Camp Director.
Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist intermittently or continuously. Ability to grasp, push, pull, and lift up to 25 lbs.
