Job summary

Allegion is seeking a Summer Intern - IT Manufacturing Systems in Carmel, IN/Indianapolis, IN to help optimize ERP usage across manufacturing sites. You will coordinate implementation plans, support testing, and assist with data cleanup and migration while learning from real-world IT projects.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or a related field.
A strong foundational understanding of IT concepts (networks, databases, cloud computing, or business software).
Project management experience.
Microsoft Excel.
SQL Server Management Studio or other coding language preferred but not required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with both technical engineers and non-technical users.

Responsibilities

Coordinate ERP implementation and rollout plans.
IT development testing to ensure solutions meet design requirements and business needs.
Assist with data cleanup and migration efforts; compile data sets, process flowcharts, and reporting tools for functional design documents.
Complete and present a summer project to senior leadership.
