Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation invites you to join the 2027 Summer Internships in Information Technology in Nashville, TN. The program offers hands-on projects, exposure to senior leaders, and the chance to work across IT units on real-world problems.

You will rotate through responsibilities including programming, development, integration, and system administration, with mentorship and structured presentations at the end of the internship.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled full-time at a 4-year university/college in Information Technology majors (CS, MIS, Data Science, AI) or related fields at application and throughout the program.
• Minimum 3.0/4.0 Cumulative GPA.
• Must relocate to the indicated work location for the duration and commute daily.

Responsibilities

• Performs programming, development, integration, and system administration assignments.
• Provides project management, programming, systems and/or system administration guidance to teammates.
• Works on complex application/technical problems, including after-hours support as needed.
• Develops major system modules and infrastructure releases based on requirements from system customers.
• Performs integration tasks for in-house systems and/or purchased hardware/software solutions.
