Adventurous Journeys Capital Partners (AJCP) is seeking a Summer Investment Management Analyst to support private equity real estate activity across hospitality, multifamily, and mixed-use sectors. The role is based onsite in Chicago, IL, and involves collaborating with Investments, Asset Management, and Finance teams on deal evaluation, budgeting, and market research.

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or real estate with an expected graduation Winter 2027–Spring 2028.
• Strong computer skills, especially Excel, and the ability to quickly learn new applications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Investments, Asset Management, Capital Markets and Finance on special projects evaluating new investments and property financings and monitoring performance.
• Interact with development teams to understand budgeting and contracting.
• Analyze the financial impact of capital events on fund performance (CapEx, dispositions, development changes, financing).
• Conduct market research to support platforms and create dashboards/databases for analysis.
• Assist in creating materials for executive reviews and investor reporting of AJCP's active investments.

What You Will Do

• Work closely with the Investments, Asset Management, Capital Markets, and Finance teams on special projects, including the evaluation of new investments and property financings and the monitoring of on-going asset-level and fund-level performance
• Interact with the development teams and various functions to understand budgeting and contracting
• Analyze the financial impact of proposed capital events to fund performance (e.g., CapEx projects, asset dispositions, alterations to development plans, financing activity, etc.)
• Conduct competitive market research to support emerging platforms and create and maintain market research-oriented dashboards and databases
• Support the creation of materials and presentations for executive review, including presentations used for investment committee approvals and quarterly and annual investor reporting of AJCP's active investment vehicles

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Working towards a bachelors' degree in finance, economics, or real estate with an anticipated graduate date of Winter 2027 to Spring 2028
• Ability to navigate various computer applications, including MS Office (emphasis on Excel) and aptitude to quickly learn other applications
