Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. in Atlanta offers an Internship Program that blends hands-on work with professional development. You will support analytics and dashboards for Internal Audit, helping automate data workflows and improve audit coverage.

Two schedule options exist: May 24, 2027 – August 6, 2027 or June 7, 2027 – August 20, 2027. Interns work full-time five days a week in the Atlanta office for the duration of the program.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited university and advancing to junior year.
• Experience with Python, R, React, JavaScript or SQL.
• Familiarity with AI/ML or other analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Support development and automation of audit analytics, including data extraction, transformation, and visualization.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting for key risk indicators and audit findings.
• Analyze datasets with auditors to identify anomalies, trends, and control gaps, and evaluate analytics tools.

Job Purpose

The ICE Internship Program offers a dynamic opportunity to combine hands‑on, impactful work on projects that shape our business alongside practical career and professional development. You'll build meaningful connections, strengthen your interpersonal skills, and contribute in ways that truly make a difference.

Beyond your day‑to‑day responsibilities, you'll participate in weekly sessions led by industry leaders, connect with fellow interns, and deepen your understanding of the financial services, technology, and mortgage industries.

The Audit Analytics Intern will support the Internal Audit function's analytics tools and dashboards, helping automate data workflows and improve audit coverage and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support development and automation of audit analytics, including data extraction, transformation, and visualization

• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting for key risk indicators and audit findings

• Analyze datasets with auditors to identify anomalies, trends, and control gaps, and help evaluate emerging analytics and AI tools

• Support and test an internally built audit project management tool

• Perform additional duties and contribute to projects as assigned

Knowledge and Experience

• Must be currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited university and be at least advancing to their junior year of study

• Experience with Python, R, React, JavaScript, or SQL

• Familiarity with AI/ML or other analytics- and development-related tech skills

• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and an interest in audit, risk, or financial services

Internship Program Schedule

To accommodate varying academic calendars, the ICE Internship Program offers two schedule options:

• Option 1: May 24, 2027 – August 6, 2027

• Option 2: June 7, 2027 – August 20, 2027

Candidates will be asked to select their preferred session during the application process.

Please Note: Interns must be available to work full‑time, five days a week, at our Atlanta office for the entire duration of one of the designated program schedules. Partial participation or alternate dates cannot be accommodated.
