Job summary

The Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago is offering a summer internship in the Mortgage Partnership Finance (MPF) department. You will engage in real-world projects within financial services, learning mortgage operations and lifecycle across MPF teams.

Ideal candidates are Junior status students with a 3.0+ GPA, pursuing Finance, Accounting, or related fields, and willing to contribute to data-driven process improvements.

Qualifications

• Applicants should be at least Junior status at an accredited four-year institution.
• GPA of at least 3.0 and in good academic standing.
• Finance, Accounting, or other Business discipline are desirable fields of study.
• willingness to learn mortgage lifecycle and operations with MPF teams.
• Lean Six Sigma data analytics skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing and improving mortgage operations processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support development and tracking of key performance metrics to drive data-informed decisions.
• Collaborate with MPF operations teams to gain understanding of mortgage lifecycle and operations.
