Job summary

Encova Insurance will offer a full-time summer internship for 2027 in our Columbus, Ohio office. The role requires you to work at least 40 hours per week and be currently enrolled with 60+ credit hours completed.

This in-office role may include some hybrid scheduling, reporting to the AVP of Quality Assurance and Projects, Commercial Lines Underwriting Office. The paid internship (18.00 USD per hour) is part of Encova’s recognized RI SE Elite Top 50 program, offering a dynamic team environment

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled and have completed at least 60 credit hours with an accredited college or university.
• Full-time summer internship requiring at least 40 hours per week.
• Preferred majors include Business Administration and/or Finance.

Responsibilities

• Support underwriting and underwriting office tasks under guidance.
• Assist in issuance, assembly and policy support per manager directions.
• Handle routine service and research requests; refer complex issues.
