Job summary

Sanofi is offering a 2027 Summer Intern position in Cambridge, MA. You’ll join the Translational Models Research team to work on in vitro and in vivo translational models, imaging, and AI-powered analysis, gaining hands-on experience under mentors.

This paid 10–12 week internship requires enrollment in a biology or related degree, U.S. work authorization, and a commitment to 40 hours per week with strong scientific curiosity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Pathology, Pharmacology, Imaging Sciences, Bioengineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship at application or in the future.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university throughout the duration of the internship.
• Must be able to relocate to Cambridge, MA and work 40 hrs/week, Monday to Friday.
• Prior laboratory research experience through coursework, academic research, or internships.
• Demonstrated interest in translational research and drug discovery.
• Strong foundation in biological sciences and disease biology principles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct translational research using in vitro and in vivo models to study human disease biology.
• Utilize advanced imaging technologies and histopathology tools to generate data.
• Apply AI-based image analysis systems to quantify biological data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including pathologists, imaging scientists, biologists, and data scientists.
• Participate in experimental design, data collection, and presentation of findings.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records in compliance with GLP and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to scientific discussions and present progress at team meetings.
• Engage in professional development and support translation of findings to clinical development.
