Responsibilities

• Assist with supplier audits and technical evaluations.
• Support NDA/PIA negotiations.
• Help create RFQ packages for supplier quotes.
• Attend and support design and QA review meetings.
• Support cost and schedule estimates for manufacturing plans.
• Coordinate supplier QA activities and documentation.
• Assist project support teams and QA witnesses as needed.
• Support completion and archival of QR and QADP in PRIME.

About the role:

As a Project Procurement intern, you will verify quality and technical requirements for projects, products, and service deliveries for Westinghouse – from bid phase and component design through manufacturing and delivery.

You will report to the Project Procurement Manager and be located at our Cranberry facility. This is a paid full-time onsite position for the summer, May - August 2027.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help with Supplier Audits and Technical Evaluations
• Support completion of NDA/PIA negotiations
• Help with Request for Quotation (RFQ) package creation
• Schedule and support Supplier Design Proposal / Compliance Matrix review meetings
• Support creating the Manufacturing and Process Plan estimates for use in design option selection or validation of cost and schedule
• Support coordination of Supplier Oversight Quality Assurance (QA) Technical Witness and Hold Points
• Support the project management team to work with Supplier Quality support organizations
• Support Westinghouse Project Support Team Execution
• Support execution of required Supplier QA Witness and Hold Points
• Complete the Westinghouse Quality Release (QR) to support shipment
• Archive the QR and associated Quality Assurance Data Package (QADP) in PRIME

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, civil, etc.), supply chain management, or similar discipline
• Completed Sophomore year of college
