Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company invites applications for a Manufacturing Quality Engineering intern position at the Blairsville, PA facility. This paid, full-time onsite internship runs May–August 2027, with compensation between $25.40 and $29.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

The role reports to the Process Quality Manager and targets a student pursuing a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering who has completed sophomore year.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• Completed Sophomore year of college.

• Provide engineering design and analysis for nuclear projects including mechanical component design and the ability to create and understand mechanical drawings.
• Work with other internal departments to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments.
• Evaluate, select, and utilize standards, techniques, procedures and criteria for development of engineering design documents including calculations and specifications.

About The Role
