Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an engineering student for a full-time internship/co-op in Arlington, TX. The role focuses on improving material flow, implementing new processes and equipment, and performing root cause analysis to enhance assembly and manufacturing performance.

The candidate will collaborate with production personnel, perform data analysis, and support safety initiatives while gaining hands-on experience in a plant environment. Graduation between Aug 2027 and Jun 2029 is required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and graduating between Aug 2027 and Jun 2029.
• Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Willingness to work in a plant environment and wear PPE.
• Able to read standardized work instructions, operate machines/tools, and perform quality inspections.
• Must be able to work in a loud manufacturing environment and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develop efficiencies in material flow and implement new processes/equipment.
• Conduct root cause analysis and problem solving to address issues.
• Provide technical support and direction to maintenance and support personnel.
• Develop and support safety protocols to protect workers.
