Allegion’s Global Supply Management team in Carmel, Indiana is seeking a Summer Intern to gain hands-on experience in new product development, supplier relationship management, risk management, supplier diversity, and digital transformation within a global manufacturing and security solutions company.

You will work with Oracle, SMART by GEP, and PowerBI, supporting risk mitigation, engaging diverse suppliers, and building foundational supply chain knowledge for a safer, more secure world.

Qualifications

Pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field.
Demonstrated leadership and initiative through activities or work.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint) and PowerBI.

Responsibilities

Learn Allegion’s global supply management strategies and how they support New Product Development, Sourced Product, Direct Material.
Gain hands-on experience with procurement technologies like Oracle, SMART by GEP, and PowerBI.
Support supplier and external risk management by analyzing risk factors and developing mitigation strategies.
Engage with diverse suppliers to understand the impact of Supplier Diversity programs on ESG goals and supply chain resilience.
Lead internal GSM projects and contribute to company-wide initiatives guiding digital change.

Join Allegion’s Global Supply Management team as a Summer Intern and make a meaningful impact on our strategic initiatives, processes, and KPIs. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in new product development, supplier relationship management, risk management, supplier diversity, and digital transformation within a global manufacturing and security solutions company. You will work closely with industry experts, participate in real projects, and develop skills that will launch your career in supply chain and strategic sourcing.

What You Will Do:

Learn about Allegion’s global supply management strategies and how they support business goals ( New Product Development, Sourced Product, Direct Material)
Gain hands‑on experience with procurement technologies, including ERP systems like Oracle, SMART by GEP, and data visualization tools like Microsoft PowerBI.
Support supplier & external risk management efforts by analyzing risk factors and helping develop mitigation strategies.
Engage with diverse suppliers to understand the impact of Supplier Diversity programs on ESG goals and supply chain resilience.
Lead projects both internal to GSM and on a company‑wide basis furthering the exposure to other functions within Allegion
Lead efforts to digitally drive change withing the organization
Build foundational knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices.

What You Need to Succeed:

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Supply Chain, Management, International Business, or a related field.
Demonstrated leadership and initiative through extracurricular activities, school projects, or work experience.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Adaptable, resilient, and eager to learn new skills.
Strong time management and creative problem‑solving abilities.
Passion for contributing to a safer and more secure world through innovative supply chain solutions.
