Job summary

Luck Companies invites rising geology students to join a summer internship. You will work closely with Geologists and the Mining Engineering team on location projects aligned with strategic objectives.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an advanced geology degree and will gain hands-on experience through assignments at local sites and across the Southeast (VA, NC, SC, GA). The program runs June 1 to early August 2027 and emphasizes safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an advanced degree in Geology or related field.
• Demonstrated interest in geology and mining operations.
• Ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Participate in onsite projects as assigned by Geologists and Mining Engineering team.
• Complete assigned tasks with a high level of quality and attention to detail.
• Actively seek feedback and coaching from supervisors and team members.
• Complete end-of-summer presentation summarizing experiences and learning outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Actively seek out feedback and coaching from supervisors and team members
• Complete end-of-summer presentation summarizing experiences and learning outcomes.

Ideal candidates will be currently enrolled in an advanced degree in Geology or related field.

Internship starts on June 1, 2027 and ends the first week of August 2027.
