Job summary

Genentech, a member of the Roche group, invites applications for a 2027 Summer Intern in External Quality (PTQX) in South San Francisco. You will support quality and compliance for external GxP suppliers and participate in cross-functional teams to ensure compliant supply of materials and services.

The intensive 12-month, full-time internship includes a location-based stipend. You’ll work on audits, CAPA, investigations, and quality agreements, gaining exposure to a broad range of QA activities

Qualifications

• GxP/pharmaceutical quality systems knowledge.
• Ability to interpret quality standards relating to GxP suppliers.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.
• Experience with audits, CAPA, deviations is a plus.
• Experience with GxP suppliers (CMO/CLO) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality and compliance oversight for external GxP suppliers (CMO/CLO) to ensure compliance.
• Serve as Quality PoC for designated suppliers and participate in cross-functional teams.
• Oversee lifecycle quality activities (source, implement, manage, decommission) including audits and investigations.
• Develop and maintain risk-based Quality Agreements and Product Specific Requirements.
