Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Support program communications, reporting, and business analytics initiatives by developing promotional videos, newsletters, dashboards, and data-driven reports.
• Create engaging communication materials and build and maintain dashboards to monitor key performance indicators.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends and insights and perform budget analysis to support financial planning and decision-making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, present findings, and develop reporting tools that enhance program visibility, operational efficiency, and strategic planning.
• Work closely with an assigned mentor on an objective-based project and participate in cross-functional activities including power plant tours, social events, career panels, and professional development workshops.
• Present project deliverables in an open forum presentation to Hawaiian Electric's management team at the end of the internship.

About You

The company is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:

• Current, active student at a post-secondary school (college or community college).
• In good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Attending school in Fall 2027.
• Studying Business, Marketing, Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Meteorology, or a related field.
• Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting pay of $21.00 per hour.
• Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm with a 30-minute lunch break.
• Location: Oahu.
