Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is offering an Electrical Engineering intern position at our Rock Hill, SC facility for the summer 2027. This paid, full-time on-site role reports to the Engineering Manager and provides hands-on experience in nuclear product design and electrical systems.

You will use AutoCAD, Mathcad, Matlab, and PSPice to support engineering design, analysis, and documentation, collaborate with teams, and help plan work to meet assignment requirements during May–August 2027.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
• Completed Sophomore year of college

Responsibilities

• Skills using Software Packages such as AutoCAD, Mathcad, Matlab, PSPice or equivalent
• Provide engineering design and analysis for nuclear products/projects including electrical system design, instrumentation and controls designs, and system wiring
• Work with other teams on similar engineering level to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments
• Plan and schedule work to meet assignment requirements
• To evaluate standards, techniques, procedures and criteria for development of engineering design documents including calculations and specifications

About The Role

As an Electrical Engineering intern, you will report to the Engineering Manager and be located at our Rock Hill, SC facility. This is a paid full-time onsite position for the summer, May - August 2027.
