Job summary

The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago Summer Intern Program offers paid internships for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students, providing direct exposure to our Bank's operations. Interns work onsite for 40 hours per week over 10-12 weeks starting in early June.

Interns engage in project-based assignments, participate in professional development activities, and interact with subject-matter experts, Bank leadership, and fellow interns in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Residency required.
• Current student in an accredited program; graduation December 2027 or later.
• Minimum 2.75 GPA; unofficial transcripts may be requested.
• Ability to commit to 40 hours per week for 10–12 weeks onsite.
• Preferred: strong Word/Excel skills; good interpersonal and communication skills.
