Job summary

The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago offers a paid Summer Intern Program for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students. Beginning in early June, interns commit to 40 hours per week for 10–12 consecutive weeks onsite, gaining hands-on exposure to our operations and mission.

Interns work on project-based assignments, receive professional development, and interact with Bank leadership and subject-matter experts in a collaborative, inclusive environment that reflects the communities we serve.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Residency.
• Current student in an accredited program graduating December 2027 or later.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week for 10–12 weeks onsite.

Responsibilities

• Engage in project-based assignments aligned with Bank operations.
• Collaborate with department leaders and fellow interns.
• Gain insights into the Federal Reserve System and policy-related work.
