Job summary

Mapfre invites a Summer Intern for Advanced Analytics in Webster, MA, or Boston, MA, for a 10-week program from June 7 to August 13, 2027. The intern will join the Advanced Analytics team to gain hands-on experience in data analytics and business intelligence.

You will work with modern cloud-based technologies, develop ML models, and translate results into actionable insights for stakeholders, supporting AI lifecycle activities and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Graduate student pursuing a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Data Science or related quantitative discipline.
• Working knowledge of Python and statistical analysis.
• Exposure to SQL, Spark, and GenAI prompting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and analytics teams to identify data-driven solutions.
• Build and analyze datasets using SQL, Spark, and Python.
