Job summary

CIBC is seeking a Private Wealth Client Service intern for a dynamic, 10-week summer program (June–August) in Illinois. The role emphasizes hands-on work, networking with bank staff and executives, and skill growth across soft and technical areas.

Qualified students are pursuing a bachelor’s degree (expected graduation between December 2026 and June 2027) with a minimum 3.0 GPA, strong communication and analytical abilities, and authorization to work in the United States.

CIBC’s Summer Internship Program is a dynamic, 10-week experience (June through August) designed to complement your academic training and support your career aspirations. Centered around the core theme of Learn, Connect, Grow, the program offers a comprehensive blend of opportunities to expand your skills and professional network.

As a Private Wealth Client Service intern, you will:

To be eligible for this position, you must be authorized to work in the U.S.

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected hourly rate of $25.00 per hour for the State of Illinois market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position.
