Qualifications

  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

What you'll be doing

The Risk Management Audit team provides independent assurance across key risk areas to help strengthen governance, controls, and decision-making across the bank. As a Summer Intern, you'll support the team with audit testing, documentation, and coordination activities while building a strong foundation in risk management and internal audit practices. You'll gain exposure to a range of risk portfolios, including Data, Risk Data and Reporting, Capital Stress Testing, Reputational and Strategic Risk, and Risk Culture. You'll also contribute to project coordination, data analysis, and process automation initiatives that help improve efficiency and insight. Throughout the internship, you'll work alongside experienced investment and risk professionals who are invested in your learning, development, and success.

How you'll succeed
  • Support audit activities - Assist with Risk Management Audit testing, prepare documentation, and help maintain clear and accurate audit records.
  • Build business knowledge - Learn about multiple risk portfolios and how effective risk management supports sound business decisions and regulatory compliance.
  • Contribute to analysis and reporting - Help organize, review, and interpret data to support audit findings, project work, and ongoing team priorities.
  • Advance process improvement - Participate in data analytics and process automation initiatives that enhance efficiency, consistency, and reporting quality.
  • Coordinate effectively - Support project tracking, manage competing priorities, and collaborate with team members to help deliver work on time.
Who you are
  • You're pursuing relevant education. You're currently working toward a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field, with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
  • You have a strong academic record. You have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.3 and a demonstrated commitment to learning and performance.
  • You're analytically curious. You enjoy working with data, exploring complex problems, and turning information into clear insights.
  • You're organized and adaptable. You can manage multiple priorities, stay attentive to detail, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • You're a strong communicator and collaborator. You bring strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, and you work well with others to achieve shared goals.
  • You're authorized to work in the United States. You meet the work authorization requirements for this opportunity.

This role has an expected hourly rate of $25.00 per hour for thel market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position.
