Job summary

Tokio Marine America invites students to a nine-week rotational internship to learn the basics of commercial insurance in a corporate setting, with exposure to Underwriting, Claims and Corporate Functions. You will perform needs assessment, assist with material creation, and support initiatives across multiple projects while liaising with internal departments and management.

You will gain practical experience, collaborate with a diverse team, and apply analytical skills in a real business

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a College/University and pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree (Sophomore or Junior year preferred).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent computer skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in, or experience within, the Insurance industry is a plus.
• Statistics and marketing research experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurately complete ad-hoc projects/reports assigned by Supervisor and team members.
• Assist team with operational functions essential to the business unit and department operations.
• Assist other team members with daily tasks as needed.
• Comply with internal controls to conduct job functions and administrative activities.
