Job summary

Tokio Marine Management Inc. in Plano, TX offers a nine-week rotational internship designed to teach the basics of commercial insurance in a corporate setting.

You will gain exposure to Underwriting, Claims and Corporate Functions, conducting needs assessment, creating materials and supporting multiple projects. You will liaise with internal departments and various levels of management to analyze and assess needs, strengthening communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in, or experience within, the Insurance industry a plus.
• Statistics and marketing research a plus.

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurately complete ad-hoc projects and reports.
• Assist team with operational functions essential to the business unit and department’s operation.
• Assist other team members with daily tasks as needed.
• Comply with internal controls to conduct job functions and administrative activities.
