Caterpillar Inc. invites students for its HR Internship Program for May 17, 2027 to August 6, 2027.

Interns will gain exposure to Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Labor Relations, Total Rewards, HR Generalist activities and more across multiple sites in the United States. The program emphasizes effective communications, interpersonal relationships, decision making, flexibility, and growth mindset while onsite full-time during the summer internship.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled full time at a 4-year University/College pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Human Resources, Business with an emphasis in HR, or related degree.
• Minimum 3.0/4.0 cumulative GPA required.
• Must relocate to indicated work locations for the duration of the internship and commute daily.

Responsibilities

• Talent Management: participate in programs and assessments.
• Learning & Development: support trainings and onboarding.
• Labor Relations: assist in labor relations activities.
• Total Rewards: understand compensation and benefits basics.
• HR Generalist: support general HR tasks across functions.
• New Hire Orientation: assist orientation sessions and materials.
• People Analytics: help with HR data and reporting.
• Process Standardization: help standardize HR processes.
• Building Inclusive Culture: contribute to inclusive workplace initiatives.
